Description:
"SWITCH OFF – SWITCH ON"
1. What the course is about
When was the last time you truly switched off? Not just physically, but mentally too. During this seven-day experience-based training, we don’t just relax—we reconnect. We tune back into ourselves, our inner motivation, and the joy of our calling. Burnout doesn’t start when you collapse—it begins long before, when you give too much without realizing it. This course is a gentle awakening, helping participants recognize their limits and rediscover the small everyday joys that sustain us.
Forget about trainers running around with notebooks or mornings overloaded with PowerPoint slides. Instead, you’ll start your day with morning reflection, mindful walks, restful learning, laughter, and peaceful silence. The activities we bring won’t dictate what’s best for you—they’ll come from within. This is not a "training" but an immersive workshop where you’re free to explore, question, doubt, and rekindle your enthusiasm. Because learning can happen while resting—and resting can happen while learning.
2. In short – what’s the essence?
Seven days where learning and renewal don’t compete, but complement each other. We exhale, gain perspective on our inner workings, play, discuss, move, reflect. We slow down—and switch back on: into strength, joy, and connection.
Key Topics:
- Types and patterns of bullying (verbal, physical, relational, online)
- Early identification and signs of bullying behavior
- The role of peer dynamics and group behavior
- Creating safe classroom rules and building trust
- Intervention techniques for teachers and school staff
- Empowering bystanders and supporting victims
- Cooperation with families and school communities
- Restorative approaches and long-term prevention
Aims and objectives:
The Switch Off – Switch On experience aims to break the endless cycle of "just one more task, then I’ll rest." This space is for educators who have pushed through for a long time—and want to keep going without burnout. For those who want to give but understand that you can only give what’s truly within you. These seven days won’t be about learning something huge, but about realizing the most essential things are already inside you—you just need to bring them out.
This training incorporates gentle self-reflection, mind-body alignment, and shared experiences. We help you recognize early signs of burnout—but without fear-mongering. Instead, we show simple, practical ways to recharge, and how to pass these techniques on to colleagues, students, and even family. Because transformation doesn’t always start with big steps—sometimes a single question, or a moment of silence is enough.
Learning outcomes:
- Your personal "switching off" map: understanding how you disconnect—and reconnect—at your own rhythm.
- Simple, reusable methods to integrate into daily life—starting from the next teaching week.
- Deeper connections—with yourself, with others, and with your passion for teaching.
- Unforgettable shared experiences with like-minded people.
- A "reconnection journal" filled with realizations, questions, and inspiration.
- A fresh perspective: rest is not a reward—it’s a necessity.
