Teacher Training Activities

 

The International Language Coaching Association

  • Co-founding ILCA, supporting education on all themes LC for teachers and language professionals & practitioners. Developing and designing a 4-course FEEL Programme for teachers to transition into LC.  
  • Working with an international team of 10+ language coaches who are founding members of ILCA.
  • Over 100 trained participants in various programmes (courses, workshops)
  • Designing and leading language coaching-related talks, workshops: for ILCA.  Collaboration with international training organisations and teaching associations.
  • Organised, co-hosted and presented at The First International Language Coaching Conference, London

 

Work Experience 

  • Corporate projects: co-ordinating multilingual language and communication skills development programmes for companies and training, coaching clients.
  • Extensive, 20+ years of teaching and training experience with language schools and freelance work.
  • 15+ years experience with public schools and private students: teenagers and Higher Education students.
  • 5+ years language examination experience
  • 3+ years Head language coach for corporate language school, overseeing coaching/ training and projects with clients

 

Teacher Trainer Skills

  • Usage of coaching, mentoring and facilitation skillset in varied training situations
  • Applying a creative twist to traditional teaching frameworks with focus on 21st century skills to help the work of BE and communication trainers, language teachers
  • Quick identification of professional blindspots
  • Supportive work with teachers on additional issues such as blockages, CPD options, burnout, wellbeing, business development
  • Creating new perspectives for teachers by providing information and skills on language coaching in many different forms
